Translation

✧ An army passed by the crops of a dhimmi man. They let their animals loose in it. A man among them restrained his animal and kept following with it the pasture, preventing it from the crops. The dhimmi owner of the crops came to the one who restrained his animal and said: 'May God suffice you,' or he said: 'God has sufficed me through you. Were it not for you, I would have been spared these people. But it is only because of you that these people are prevented.'
