machine translationNo one reported it as a raised report (marfūʿ) from al-Shaʿbī except Qatādah, and he is a concealer of defects in chains (mudallis); perhaps it reached him from him. It was also narrated by Bayān, Dāwūd b. Abī Hind and Ibn Abī al-Safar, from al-Shaʿbī, from Suwayd, from ʿUmar, as his own statement.
in جامع الترمذي, p. 1837
