حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَازِبٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ: صَحِبْنَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَسَمِعْنَاهُ يَقُولُ:
" إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ فِتَنًا كَأَنَّهَا قِطَعُ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ، يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي كَافِرًا، وَيُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا، يَبِيعُ أَقْوَامٌ خَلَاقَهُمْ بِعَرَضٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٍ
Translation

✧ Indeed, before the Hour there will be trials like patches of a dark night. A man will wake up a believer and become a disbeliever by evening, and he will be a believer in the evening and become a disbeliever by morning. People will sell their religion for a small portion of this world.
