حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:
صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الصُّبْحَ، فَقَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ: مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى الْجَمَلِ الْأَحْمَرِ - يَقُولُهُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " لَا وَجَدْتَ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنَّمَا هَذِهِ الْمَسَاجِدُ إِنَّمَا بُنِيَتْ لِمَا بُنِيَتْ لَهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the morning prayer. A bedouin said, 'Who will call out for the red camel?' — saying it in the mosque. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'May you not find it.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'These mosques were built only for what they were built for.'
