حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ حَمَّادٌ: وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ سَيَّارُ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ

قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا: كَانَ بِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ إِذَا دَلَكَتِ الشَّمْسُ، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ: " كَانَ بِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ إِذَا دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ

✧ One of them said: "Bilal used to give the call to prayer when the sun had begun to decline," and the other said: "Bilal used to give the call to prayer when the sun had passed its zenith."
