حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
" إِذَا كَانَتْ مَعَكَ أَسْهُمٌ فَخُذْ بِنُصُولِهَا أَلَّا تَجْرَحَ مُسْلِمًا أَوْ تَخْرِقَ ثَوْبَهُ، قَالَ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ: وَهَؤُلَاءِ يَأْمُرُونِي أَنْ أَسْتَقْبِلَ بِهَا حَدَقَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Translation

✧ "If you have arrows with you, take them by their points so you do not wound a Muslim or tear his garment." Al-Ashʿarī said, "And these people are commanding me to point them at the pupils of the Muslims' eyes."
