حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ،

" أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ

Translation

✧ He used to greet to his right: “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings,” and to his left: “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.”
