machine translationShabābah said, from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb, from al-Maqburī, from a man of Banū Sulaym who informed him, from his father, from Kaʿb, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "And none of you should interlace the fingers of his hands in prayer." It was also said from him: from a man of Banū Sālim. This ḥadīth is disputed with regard to Saʿīd: it was said from him thus, and it was said from him from Kaʿb, and it was said from him from a man from Kaʿb, and it was said from him from Abū Hurayrah that the Prophet ﷺ said to Kaʿb. And it was said from Ibn ʿAjlān, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. The correct version is from Ibn ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, in the three ways.
