حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ:
مُعَقِّبَاتٌ لَا يَخِيبُ قَائِلُهُنَّ - أَوْ قَالَ: فَاعِلُهُنَّ - أَنْ تُكَبِّرَ اللهَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَتُسَبِّحَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَتَحْمَدَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ. قَالَ الْحَكَمُ: فَمَا تَرَكْتُهُنَّ بَعْدُ

✧ There are phrases that follow the prayers, whose utterer—or he said doer—will not be disappointed: to magnify God thirty-four times, glorify Him thirty-three times, and praise Him thirty-three times after every prayer. Al-Hakam said, "I have not abandoned them since."
