حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ أَوَ الْعَصْرَ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَحَدَثَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ حَدَثٌ؟ قَالَ «وَمَا ذَاكُمْ؟» قَالُوا صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ أَنْسَى كَمَا تَنْسَوْنَ فَإِذَا وَهِمَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ»

✧ He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Zuhr or 'Asr. When he finished his prayer, it was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, has something new occurred in the prayer?' He said: 'What is that?' They said: 'You prayed five.' He then faced the qiblah and prostrated twice. Then he said: 'I am only a human being; I forget just as you forget. So if one of you errs in his prayer, let him prostrate twice.'
