حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ بَعْدَ قِيَامِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ نُثَبِّتُ النَّاسَ عَلَى الْقِرَاءَةِ فَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَرْجِعَ صَلَّيْنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ
«أَتُحَمِّلُونَ النَّاسَ مَا لَا يُحَمِّلُهُمُ اللهُ يَرَوْنَكُمْ تُصَلُّونَ فَيُرَوْنَ ذَلِكَ وَاجِبًا عَلَيْهِمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلِينَ فَفِي الْبُيُوتِ»
