حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو
ثنا فَسَأَلْنَاهُ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَقْرَأُ؟ قَالَ «كَانَ يُسْمِعُ آلَ عُتْبَةَ وَهُمْ فِي حُجْرَةٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»
Translation

✧ He narrated to us, so we asked him, “How did ʿAbd Allah use to recite?” He said, “He would make the household of ʿUtba hear him, while they were in a room in front of him.”
