حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَعَبْدُ اللهِ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْقَوْمُ رُكُوعٌ فَرَكَعْنَا ثُمَّ مَشَيْنَا حَتَّى دَخَلْنَا فِي الْقَوْمِ فَرَفَعُوا رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا مَعَهُمْ فَلَمَّا أَنْ فَرَغْنَا مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ قُمْتُ لِأَقْضِيَ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ فَقَالَ «قَدْ أَتْمَمْتَ الصَّلَاةَ»
Translation

✧ I and ʿAbd Allah entered the mosque while the people were bowing, so we bowed, then we walked until we joined the people. They raised their heads and we raised [ours] with them. When we finished the prayer, I stood up to make up [what I missed], but ʿAbd Allah spoke to me and said, "You have completed the prayer."
