حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

عَبْدُ اللهِ «وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ لَا يُحْسِنُ عَبْدُ اللهِ الظَّنَّ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ ظَنَّهُ وَذَلِكَ بَانَ الْخَيْرُ فِي يَدِهِ»

✧ ʿAbd Allāh said: “By the One besides whom there is no god, no servant thinks well of Allah except that He gives him what he thought, and that is because all good is in His hand.”
