✧ That he would come every Thursday, standing upright, not sitting, and say: 'Do not cause tribulation for the people, for among them are the weak, the elderly, and the one in need.' Then he would say: 'There are two things, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad ﷺ, and the truest speech is the Book of God, and the worst of matters are their innovations, and every innovation is misguidance. Indeed, the wretched is he who was wretched in his mother's womb, and the fortunate is he who is admonished by others. Beware, let not the long span of time delude you, nor let false hopes divert you, for all that is coming is near; indeed far is only what is not coming. Among the worst of people is he who lengthens the day in fear of the night. Indeed, killing a believer is disbelief, and insulting him is wickedness. It is not lawful for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three days. Indeed, the worst of vessels is lying, and lying is not appropriate in seriousness or jest, nor may a man promise his child something and then not fulfill it. Indeed, lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire, and truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. The truthful one is said of him: He was truthful and righteous, and the liar is said of him: He lied and was wicked.'
