حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا تَمِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنِ الْأَزْهَرِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

صَعِدْتُ أَرَاكَةً لَأَجْنِيَ مِنْهَا أَرَاكَةً فَجَعَلَ أَصْحَابِي يَتَعَجَّبُونَ مِنْ خِفَّتِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا تَعْجَبُونَ فَوَ الَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَثْقَلُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ أُحُدٍ»

✧ I climbed a small arāk tree to pick some of its fruit, and my companions began to marvel at my lightness. The Prophet ﷺ said: “What do you marvel at? By the One in whose hand is my soul, he is heavier in the Scale on the Day of Resurrection than Uḥud.”
