حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ وَهُوَ إِسْحَاقُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ

أَنَّهُ شَكَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَمًا فَقَالَ أَيُّكُمْ وَجَدَ أَلَمًا فَلْيَضَعْ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَلْيَذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَلْيَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

✧ He complained to the Messenger of God ﷺ of a pain. He said: 'Whoever of you feels a pain, let him place his right hand upon it and mention the name of God three times, and let him say: "I seek refuge in the might of God and His power from the evil of what I find and fear" seven times.'
