حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ إِشْكَابَ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سَرِيعٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا مِنْ نَسَمَةٍ تُولَدُ إِلَّا عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ حَتَّى يُعْرِبَ عَنْهَا لِسَانُهَا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, every child is born upon the Fitrah (natural inclination), and it is only his parents who turn him into a Jew or a Christian or a Magian."
