حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ السِّمْسَارُ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُقَبِّلُ الصَّائِمُ؟ فَقَالَ «سَلْ هَذِهِ» لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَهِي جَالِسَةٌ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهُ لَيَفْعَلُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنْتَ قَدْ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ قَالَ «أَمَا وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَخْشَاكُمْ لِلَّهِ وَأَتْقَاكُمْ»

✧ I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whether a fasting person may kiss. He said, "Ask this one," referring to Umm Salamah, who was sitting there. She said, "He indeed does that." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins." He said, "By Allah, I am the most fearful of Allah among you and the most mindful of Him."
