حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُعَافَى بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَعْنٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُشْتَمِلًا بِهِ وَاضِعًا طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ»

Translation

  3. Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father
  4. ʿUmar b. Abū Salamah

✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ praying in the house of Umm Salamah in a single garment, wrapping himself with it, placing its two ends upon his shoulders.
