حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ «رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ مُشْتَمِلًا بِهِ وَاضِعًا طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ»

Translation

  3. Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father
  4. ʿUmar b. Abū Salamah

✧ Al-Qaʿnabi narrated to us; my father narrated to me, from Hisham b. ʿUrwah, from his father, from ʿUmar b. Abi Salamah, that he saw the Messenger of God ﷺ praying in a garment, wrapping himself with it, placing its two ends upon his shoulders, in the house of Umm Salamah.
