حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ

عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَتَى الرَّجُلُ الْقَوْمَ فَقَالُوا مَرْحَبًا فَمَرْحَبًا بِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَإِذَا أَتَى الرَّجُلُ الْقَوْمَ فَقَالُوا قَحْطًا فَقَحْطًا لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ From the Prophet of Allah ﷺ, he said: "When a man comes to a people and they say, 'Welcome, welcome to him until the day he meets his Lord,' and when a man comes to a people and they say, 'Barren, barren for him on the Day of Resurrection.'"
