حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ شَافِعٌ لِأَصْحَابِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَعَلَّمُوا الْبَقَرَةَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ تَعَلَّمُوا الزَّهْرَاوَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَأْتِيَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَمَامَتَانِ أَوْ غَيَايَتَانِ أَوْ كَأَنَّهُمَا فَرْقَانِ مِنْ طَيْرٍ صَوَافٍّ تُجَادِلَانِ عَنْ صَاحِبِهِمَا وَتَعَلَّمُوا الْبَقَرَةَ فَإِنَّ تَعَلُّمَهَا بَرَكَةٌ وَإِنَّ تَرْكَهَا لَحَسْرَةٌ وَلَا يُطِيقُهَا الْبَطَلَةُ» يَعْنِي بِالْبَطَلَةِ السَّحَرَةَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Learn the Qur’an, for it will intercede for its companions on the Day of Resurrection. Learn Surat al-Baqarah and Al ‘Imran. Learn the two radiant ones, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds or two canopies, or like two flocks of birds in rows, arguing in defense of their companion. And learn Surat al-Baqarah, for learning it is a blessing, abandoning it is a regret, and the idle cannot master it.” He meant by the idle the magicians.
