✧ The heads of the Azariqa—seventy heads—were brought and set up on the steps of Damascus for seven days. Three days of the seven passed, and on the fourth day Abu Umamah came, prayed two rak'ahs beside a pillar, and said: "Dogs of the Fire," three times. "The worst of those killed under the shade of the sky; the best of those killed under the shade of the sky are those whom they killed." I said: O Abu Umamah, is this something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or something you say of your own accord? He said: "Then I would indeed be bold. No, I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ not once, nor twice—until it reached seven."
