حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ النَّشِيطِيُّ ثنا سَلْمُ بْنُ زُرَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «افْتَرَقَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى إِحْدَى وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً تَزِيدُ عَلَيْهَا أُمَّتِي فِرْقَةً كُلُّهَا فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا السَّوَادَ الْأَعْظَمَ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "The Children of Israel split into seventy-one sects, and my Ummah will exceed them by one sect. All of them will be in the Fire except the main body."
