حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَزِيزٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ثنا سَلَامَةُ بْنُ رَوْحٍ عَنْ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَنَّ أَخَاهُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْحَارِثِيَّ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَقْتَطِعُ رَجُلٌ حَقَّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِيَمِينِهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَوْجَبَ لَهُ النَّارَ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَإِنْ شَيْئًا يَسِيرًا؟ قَالَ «وَإِنْ كَانَ سِوَاكًا مِنْ أَرَاكٍ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “No man seizes the right of a Muslim man by his oath except that Allah forbids Paradise to him and makes the Fire obligatory for him.” A man from the people said, “O Messenger of Allah, even if it is something insignificant?” He said, “Even if it is a toothstick of arak.”
