حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَخَاهُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ كَعْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ بْنَ ثَعْلَبَةَ الْحَارِثِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَقْتَطِعُ رَجُلٌ حَقَّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِيَمِينِهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَوْجَبَ لَهُ النَّارَ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ وَإِنْ كَانَ يَسِيرًا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ «وَإِنْ كَانَ سِوَاكًا مِنْ أَرَاكٍ»

✧ That he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “No man seizes the right of a Muslim man by his oath except that Allah forbids Paradise to him and makes the Fire obligatory for him.” A man from the people said, “Even if it is insignificant, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Even if it is a toothstick of arak.”
