حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ الشَّامِيِّ أَنَّ مَوْلَاةً لَهُ

يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ هَاشِمٍ أَجْلَسَتْهُ فِي السِّتْرِ بِدَوَاةٍ وَقَلَمٍ وَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَى أَبِي أُمَامَةَ فَسَأَلَتْهُ عَنْ حَدِيثٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْوُضُوءِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَامَ إِلَى الْوُضُوءِ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ خَرَجَتِ الْخَطَايَا مِنْ يَدَيْهِ فَإِذَا مَضْمَضَ خَرَجَتِ الْخَطَايَا مِنْ فِيهِ فَإِذَا اسْتَنْثَرَ خَرَجَتْ مِنْ أَنْفِهِ فَكَذَلِكَ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَ الْقَدْمَيْنِ فَإِنْ خَرَجَ إِلَى صَلَاةٍ مَفْرُوضَةٍ كَانَتْ كَحَجَّةٍ مَبْرُورَةٍ وَإِنْ خَرَجَ إِلَى صَلَاةِ تَطَوُّعٍ كَانَتْ كَعُمْرَةٍ مَبْرُورَةٍ»

✧ She was called Umm Hashim. She seated him behind the curtain with an inkpot and a pen, and sent to Abu Umamah asking him about a hadith he narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about ablution. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Whoever rises to perform ablution and washes his hands, sins depart from his hands. When he rinses his mouth, sins depart from his mouth. When he sniffs water into his nose and blows it out, they depart from his nose. Thus it continues until he washes his feet. If he goes out to an obligatory prayer, it is like an accepted Hajj. If he goes out to a voluntary prayer, it is like an accepted Umrah.”
