حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ صَاحِبُ الْمَغَازِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الثَّقَفِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي بِشْرٌ أَبُو نَصْرٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَدِرَ عَلَى طَمَعٍ مِنْ طَمَعِ الدُّنْيَا فَأَدَّاهُ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَمْ يُؤَدِّهِ زَوَّجَهُ اللهُ ﷻ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ حَيْثُ شَاءَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “Whoever has the ability to seize some worldly greed but gives it up—though if he had wished he could have taken it—God ﷻ will marry him to the wide-eyed houris wherever he wishes.”
