حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لُقْمَانَ قَالَ لِابْنِهِ يَا بُنَيَّ عَلَيْكَ بِمَجَالِسِ الْعُلَمَاءِ وَاسْتَمِعْ كَلَامَ الْحُكَمَاءِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يُحْيِي الْقَلْبَ الْمَيِّتَ بِنُورِ الْحِكْمَةِ كَمَا يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ الْمَيْتَةَ بِوَابِلِ الْمَطَرِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: Luqman said to his son: “O my son, keep to the gatherings of the scholars and listen to the words of the wise, for God revives the dead heart with the light of wisdom just as He revives the dead earth with abundant rain.”
