al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 761

✧ On the Day of Judgement, Allah has prepared punishment and anger for those who steal the wealth of a Muslim, or falsely swear on them with a false oath.

حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى الدِّمَشْقِيِّ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّ أُنَاسًا أَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالُوا سَعِّرْ لَنَا أَسْعَارًا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ غَلَاءَ أَسْعَارِكُمْ وَرُخْصِهَا بِيَدِ اللهِ ﷻ إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى اللهَ ﷻ وَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ قِبَلِي مَظْلَمَةٌ فِي مَالٍ وَلَا دَمٍ»

✧ Some people came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "Set prices for us, O Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, the rise and fall of your prices is in the hand of Allah, may He be exalted. I hope to meet Allah, may He be exalted, while none of you has a grievance against me concerning wealth or blood."
