حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ
لَوْ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَّا سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ مَا حَدَّثْتُ بِهِ قَالَ «إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ الرَّجُلُ كَمَا أُمِرَ ذَهَبَ الْإِثْمُ مِنْ سَمْعِهِ وَبَصَرِهِ وَيَدَيْهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ»

✧ Had I not heard it from the Prophet ﷺ except seven times, I would not have narrated it. He said: “When a man performs ablution as he has been commanded, sin departs from his hearing, his sight, his hands, and his feet.”
