حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْبُرْجُلَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

لَوْ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ مَا حَدَّثْتُ بِهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ الرَّجُلُ كَمَا أُمِرَ ذَهَبَ الْإِثْمُ مِنْ سَمْعِهِ وَبَصَرِهِ وَيَدَيْهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ»

✧ Had I not heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except seven times, I would not have narrated it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When a man performs ablution as he has been commanded, sin departs from his hearing, his sight, his hands, and his feet.”
