حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمُ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ السِّمْسَارُ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السَّوْطِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالُوا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَطَهَّرَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ وَقَالَ «الْأُذُنَانِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ وَغَسَلَ مَا فِيهِ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ أَبِي عُمَرَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution and washed his hands three times each, purified his face three times each, and his forearms three times each, and wiped his head and his ears, and said: “The ears are part of the head,” and he washed what was in it. The wording is that of the hadith of Abu Umar.
