حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ثنا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ الْمُعَطَّلِ السُّلَمِيِّ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَتْ قَارَنَهَا الشَّيْطَانُ إِذَا انْبَسَطَتْ فَارَقَهَا فَإِذَا دَنَتْ لِلزَّوَالِ قَارَنَهَا وَإِذَا زَالَتْ فَارَقَهَا وَإِذَا دَنَتْ لِلْمَغِيبِ قَارَنَهَا وَإِذَا غَرَبَتْ فَارَقَهَا» فَنَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي تِلْكَ السَّاعَاتِ

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ said: «Verily, when the sun rises, Satan accompanies it; when it becomes high, he leaves it; when it nears its zenith, he accompanies it; when it declines, he leaves it; when it nears its setting, he accompanies it; and when it sets, he leaves it.» So he prohibited prayer at those times.
