✧ From the Messenger of God ﷺ, that he said: Four people will torment the inhabitants of the Fire on top of the torment they already have; they run between the ḥamīm and the jaḥīm, calling out with woe and destruction. The inhabitants of the Fire say to one another: What is the matter with these ones? They have tormented us on top of the torment we already have. He said: One is a man with a chest of embers locked upon him; one is a man dragging his intestines; one is a man whose mouth flows with pus and blood; and one is a man eating his own flesh. It will be said to the one with the chest: What is the matter with the distant one? He has tormented us on top of the torment we already have. He will say: The distant one died while people's wealth was on his neck, and we find no settlement or repayment for it. Then it will be said to the one dragging his intestines: What is the matter with the distant one? He has tormented us on top of the torment we already have. It will be said: The distant one did not care if urine got on him and did not wash it. Then it will be said to the one whose mouth flows with pus and blood: What is the matter with the distant one? He has tormented us on top of the torment we already have. He will say: The distant one used to eat the flesh of people.
