حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ صَاحِبُ الْمَغَازِي ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنْ مُحَيِّصَةَ عَنْ شَيْبَةَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ
صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْخَيْفِ فَقَالَ ثَلَاثٌ لَا يُغِلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ مُؤْمِنٍ إِخْلَاصُ الْعَمَلِ وَالنُّصْحُ لِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَلُزُومُ جَمَاعَتِهِمْ فَإِنَّ دَعْوَتَهُمْ تُحِيطُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer in the mosque of al-Khayf and said: 'Three things, the heart of a believer never harbors treachery regarding them: sincere devotion in action, good counsel to the leaders of the Muslims, and keeping to their community, for their supplication encompasses those behind them.'
