حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجَرْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ كَتَبَ كِتَابًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِأَلْفَيْ عَامٍ وَأَنْزَلَ فِيهِ آيَتَيْنِ خَتَمَ بِهِمَا سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ لَا يُقْرَآنِ فِي دَارٍ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ فَيَقْرَبَهَا شَيْطَانٌ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “God ﷻ wrote a book two thousand years before creating the heavens and the earth, and sent down in it two verses with which He sealed Surah al-Baqarah. They are not recited in a house for three nights except that no devil comes near it.”
