حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا وَهْبٌ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ شَدَّادٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ كَتَبَ الْإِحْسَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَإِذَا قَتَلْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الْقِتْلَةَ وَإِذَا ذَبَحْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الذَّبْحَ وَلْيُحِدَّ أَحَدُكُمْ شَفْرَتَهُ وَلْيُرِحْ ذَبِيحَتَهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah ﷻ has prescribed excellence in all things. So when you kill, kill well; and when you slaughter, slaughter well. Let each of you sharpen his blade and spare suffering to the animal he slaughters.”
