حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ السَّمُرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
«إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَنَا إِذَا أَدْرَكَتْنَا الصَّلَاةُ وَنَحْنُ ثَلَاثَةٌ أَوْ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَنْ يَقُومَ لَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنَّا فَيَكُونَ لَنَا إِمَامًا وَإِنْ كُنَّا اثْنَيْنِ أَنْ نُصَفَّ مَعًا»

✧ Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us that when the prayer overtakes us and we are three or more, one of us should stand as our imam, and if we are two, we should stand in a row together.
