حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ السَّمُرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ خُبَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ أَيَّةَ سَاعَةٍ شِئْنَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَجْتَنِبَ طُلُوعَ الشَّمْسِ وَغُرُوبَهَا وَقَالَ «إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَغِيبُ مَعَهَا حِينَ تَغِيبُ وَيَطْلُعُ مَعَهَا حِينَ تَطْلُعُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to pray at any hour we wished of the night or day, except that he commanded us to avoid the rising of the sun and its setting. He said: “Indeed, Satan sets with it when it sets and rises with it when it rises.”
