حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثنا الْفَيْضُ بْنُ وَثِيقٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا عَنْبَسَةُ الْأَعْوَرُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ وَسَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ
«أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ لَهُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُمْ فَأَقْرَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً»
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Aḥmad b. Yaḥyá al-Ḥulwānī
✧ A man manumitted six slaves of his at the time of death while he had no property other than them, so the Prophet ﷺ cast lots among them and freed two and kept four enslaved.
