حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّصْرِ الصَّائِغُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلَكْنَا وَكَيْفَ لَنَا أَنْ نَعْلَمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِنَا مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْكِبْرِ؟ وَأَيْنَ هُوَ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنْ لَبِسَ الصُّوفَ أَوْ حَلَبَ الشَّاةَ أَوْ أَكَلَ مَعَ مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُهُ فَلَيْسَ فِي قَلْبِهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ الْكِبْرُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "No one will enter Paradise who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of arrogance." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, we are ruined. How can we know what is in our hearts of that arrogance, and where is it?" The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever wears wool, or milks a sheep, or eats with what his right hand possesses, then there is not in his heart, if Allah wills, arrogance."
