حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالُوا ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَامَ سُرَاقَةُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ فَقَالَ

عُمْرَتُنَا لِعَامِنَا هَذَا أَمْ لِأَبَدِ أَبَدٍ؟ فَشَبَّكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَصَابِعَهُ وَاحِدَةً فِي الْأُخْرَى وَقَالَ «دَخَلَتِ الْعُمْرَةُ فِي الْحَجِّ مَرَّتَيْنِ لَا بَلْ لِأَبَدِ أَبَدٍ»

✧ Is our ʿUmrah for this year of ours or for ever and ever? The Messenger of God ﷺ interlaced his fingers, one over the other, and said, 'The ʿUmrah has been merged into the Hajj—twice. No, rather, for ever and ever.'
