حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَرْبَعٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ فَلَمَّا طَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً» فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ التَّرْوِيَةِ لَبَّوْا بِالْحَجِّ فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ طَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ وَلَمْ يَطُوفُوا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قِصَّةَ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ arrived with four nights having passed of Dhu al-Hijjah. When they had circumambulated the House and between al-Safa and al-Marwah, the Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Make it an umrah." On the day of al-Tarwiyah, they proclaimed the talbiyah for hajj. On the day of sacrifice, they circumambulated the House but did not perform sa'y between al-Safa and al-Marwah. He did not mention the story of Suraqah b. Malik.
