حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَبْرَةَ الْجُهَنِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَبْرَةَ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَذِنَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْمُتْعَةِ فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ إِلَى امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ كَأَنَّهَا بَكْرَةٌ عَيْطَاءُ فَعَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهَا أَنْفُسَنَا فَقَالَتْ مَا تُعْطِينَا؟ فَقُلْتُ رِدَائِي وَقَالَ صَاحِبِي رِدَائِي وَكَانَ رِدَاءُ صَاحِبِي أَجْوَدَ مِنْ رِدَائِي وَكُنْتُ أَشَبَّ مِنْهُ فَإِذَا نَظَرَتْ إِلَى رِدَاءِ صَاحِبِي أَعْجَبَهَا وَإِذَا نَظَرَتْ إِلَيَّ أَعْجَبْتُهَا ثُمَّ قَالَتْ أَنْتَ وَرِدَاؤُكَ يَكْفِينِي فَمَكَثْتُ مَعَهَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي يَتَمَتَّعُ بِهِنَّ فَلْيُخَلِّ سَبِيلَهَا» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ يَحْيَى بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ

✧ He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted us to do mut'ah. So I and another man went to a woman from Banu Amir, as if she were a long-necked young she-camel. We offered ourselves to her. She said, 'What will you give me?' I said, 'My cloak,' and my companion said, 'My cloak.' My companion's cloak was better than mine, but I was more handsome than him. When she looked at my companion's cloak, she liked it, and when she looked at me, she liked me. Then she said, 'You and your cloak will suffice me.' I stayed with her for three days. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever has any of these women whom he is enjoying in temporary marriage, let him release her.' The wording is that of the hadith of Yahya b. Bukayr.
