حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ وَوَكِيعٌ وَحُمَيْدُ ابْنُ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّوَاسِبِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي صَلَاةٍ لَيْسَتْ بِفَرِيضَةٍ فَمَرَّ بِذِكْرِ النَّارِ فَقَالَ «أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَيْلٌ لِأَهْلِ النَّارِ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ in a prayer that was not obligatory. He came to the mention of the Fire and said, "I seek refuge in God from the Fire. Woe to the people of the Fire." The wording is from the hadith of Uthman b. Abi Shaybah.
