حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى أَنَّ أَبَاهُ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «قَسَّمَ غَنَمًا فَجَعَلَ لِكُلِّ عَشَرَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ شَاةً وَأَنَّهَا كَانَتْ نُهْبَةً» قَالَ «وَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِالْقُدُورِ فَأُكْفِئَتْ وَهُوَ يَوْمُ خَيْبَرَ»

✧ He informed him that the Messenger of God ﷺ distributed sheep, giving one sheep for every ten of his companions, and that they were spoils. He said, "On that day, the Prophet ﷺ ordered the cooking pots to be overturned, and that was the day of Khaybar."
