حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ الْأَزْدِيَّ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تُفْتَحُ الْيَمَنُ فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ فَيَتَحَمَّلُونَ بِأَهْلِيهِمْ وَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُمْ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ثُمَّ تُفْتَحُ الْعِرَاقُ فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ فَيَتَحَمَّلُونَ بِأَهْلِيهِمْ وَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُمْ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ثُمَّ تُفْتَحُ الشَّامُ فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ فَيَتَحَمَّلُونَ بِأَهْلِيهِمْ وَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُمْ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ»

✧ He informed him that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Yemen will be conquered, and people will come driving their camels, taking their families and those who obey them. Madinah is better for them, if only they knew. Then Iraq will be conquered, and people will come driving their camels, taking their families and those who obey them. Madinah is better for them, if only they knew. Then Syria will be conquered, and people will come driving their camels, taking their families and those who obey them. Madinah is better for them, if only they knew.”
