حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَزَّارُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ الْبَجَلِيُّ الْقَاضِي عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ

لَقَدِ اشْتَرَيْتُ يَمِينِي مَرَّةً بِسَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا وَذَلِكَ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنِ اقْتَطَعَ حَقَّ مُسْلِمٍ بِيَمِينٍ لَقِيَ اللهَ ﷻ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ»

✧ I once bought my oath for seventy thousand, because I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say, 'Whoever seizes the right of a Muslim by an oath will meet God ﷻ while He is angry with him.'
